DURABLE HOOKED STEEL INSERTS
The hooked design distributes stress more evenly across the plate, which helps prevent cracking, chipping, or deformation of the bumper plate. Hooked steel inserts often produce less noise and vibration when dropped compared to plates with regular circular inserts. The secure connection between the hook and the rubber dampens the impact and reduces the rattling or clanging noise when dropping the bar, making them ideal for olympic weightlifting.
LOW ODOR
Our Black Bumper Plates are made from 100% virgin rubber, which means it contains fewer impurities, contaminants, and foreign substances compared to recycled rubber. These impurities can contribute to the strong rubber smell often associated with recycled rubber bumper plates, but are eliminated with 100% virgin rubber bumper plates.
